K K Investment Ltd is the data controller for the information described on this page. It explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to exercise your rights.
The controller
The data controller is K K Investment Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 05096058), whose registered office is 4a The Drive, Kingston upon Thames, KT2 7NY. Data protection enquiries: [email protected].
The data we hold
Three categories, and no others:
- Contact details you provide — name, organisation, email, telephone, and the content of your enquiry.
- A record of dealings — correspondence, and file notes of conversations where these were made.
- Web server logs — IP address, browser and requested pages, generated automatically by our host.
There is no account system on this site, no payment processing, and no deliberate collection of special category data.
Purposes and lawful bases
| Purpose | Lawful basis |
|---|---|
| Responding to you and continuing the conversation | Legitimate interests — you contacted us and expect a reply |
| Putting a contract in place and performing it | Contract, or pre-contractual steps taken at your request |
| Record-keeping across transactions and correspondence | Legitimate interests — administration of the business, and legal claims |
| Statutory accounting and tax requirements | Legal obligation |
| Optional analytics cookies, should we introduce them | Consent — freely given and freely withdrawn |
Disclosure
Personal data is never sold and never shared for third-party marketing. It reaches only those who need it to act for us — our accountants, solicitors, web host and email provider, all bound by contract — and anyone to whom the law obliges us to disclose it.
How long we keep it
Not indefinitely. An enquiry that comes to nothing is deleted within two years. Records of a contract or transaction are retained for twelve years from completion, because that is the limitation period for obligations under a deed. Accounting records are held for a minimum of six years, as required by the Companies Act 2006. Our host cycles its server logs after a short period.
Everything is stored in the UK or the EEA; any transfer beyond that relies on the safeguards permitted by UK law.
Your rights over your data
Access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability all apply here in the circumstances the UK GDPR sets out, as does the right to be informed — which this notice exists to satisfy. Where processing rests on consent, you can withdraw it at any time, with no effect on what was done before.
Write to [email protected]. One month is our limit for replying, and there is no fee for a reasonable request.
Raising a concern
Come to us first if you can; we would rather hear it. Either way you have the right to take it to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint, or on 0303 123 1113.
Revisions
Where what we do with data changes, this notice changes with it. Check the date at the top to see which version you are reading.
